2010 Inductee Announcement

The Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame welcomes its inaugural 12 inductees.

Being inducted in 2010 are:

David Braley – football (builder)
Jackie Callura – boxing (athlete)
Bill Friday – hockey (official)
Harry Howell – hockey (athlete)
Russ Jackson – football (athlete)
Mel Laforme – rowing (athlete)
Ray Lewis – track (athlete)
Joanne Malar – swimming (athlete)
Claude Saunders – rowing (athlete/builder)
Billy Sherring – track (athlete)
Jimmy Thompson – swimming (coach)
1967 Hamilton Tiger-Cats – football (team)

The inductees will be honoured in a pregame ceremony at the Hamilton Bulldogs game with the Toronto Marlies on Thursday, April 1 at 7:30 pm.

The formal Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame inaugural induction dinner will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at Carmens.
