A dominant junior competitor in five-pin bowling, Connie Ward transitioned to adult competition in 1986 and quickly captured the Ontario singles title and a team provincial championship with the Hamilton ladies. She went on to win the Canadian National Open Singles Championship in 2007 and has medaled multiple times in national and provincial competitions.
Ward holds a career national match-play average of 259.95 over 167 games, with a 59.5% win rate, ranking her among the most consistent elite bowlers in Canadian five-pin history. Her performances at the Ontario 5 Pin Bowlers’ Association (O5PBA) championships have made her a multi-time all-star, and she remains active in mentoring young bowlers across the region.
