Don Robertson has spent more than four decades shaping Hamilton’s hockey landscape. A former player and referee, Robertson became best known for his work as owner and general manager of the Dundas Real McCoys, leading the senior men’s team to multiple Allan Cup appearances and national championships, including Allan Cup wins in 2014, 2023 and 2024.
He has held leadership roles in the Allan Cup Hockey League, served on the Hamilton Police Services Board, and continues to contribute as a respected community builder and sports advocate. He has been a licensed real estate broker since 1974, a local sports columnist, and a longstanding promoter of community hockey. Robertson’s impact on the sport and the City of Hamilton has been recognized with multiple civic awards.
